Trekking shoes
Trekking shoes are, in general, a type of footwear for expeditions and off-road trips. It can be an outing to the mountains and it can be trekking shoes for a longer walk or a couple of days out in difficult terrain. It is known that feet and their comfort are very important during expeditions. The hiker's feet must be dry and rested. Shoes must not rub, be too small or too big. As a general rule, you should avoid wearing newly purchased shoes on expeditions. It is better to reach them and check them around the house. Ill-fitting trekking shoes are the end of our adventure. Also remember that for this type of shoes we choose slightly different socks than for casual or going out shoes.
How to choose trekking shoes
At first glance, it may seem that most trekking shoes are the same. To a large extent, this is true. Trekking boots have some common features because, after all, they were all created for the same purpose. What characterizes trekking boots is a higher upper. It is usually 7 to 9 inches high. This helps stabilize the ankle and ensure safety in difficult terrain. Another distinctive feature is the membrane. A blessing of dryness for legs that will stay out of water. Of course, don't confuse membrane boots with wellingtons. The membrane protects against both rain and water from puddles and streams. Remember a solid lacing system. The shoe must not fit snugly. If it does, it will start to pinch you after a short walk. In winter, your leg will freeze due to impeded blood circulation.
Trekking shoes from Poland
You probably know but also in our country we have a proven and reliable manufacturer of trekking boots. Demar company has been producing boots ideal for expeditions for years. The models are made of grain leather and also of suede. They have waterproof membranes and, most importantly, there are virtually no complaints about them. Demar also prides itself on the good availability of its products and in all sizes. Modern technologies are used in Demar's latest products. The BOA swing system is a knob and a steel cable in the role of a shoelace. A couple of movements with the knob and we have a solidly and securely laced shoe. On top of that, you can be sure that it won't un-lace itself during an intense march. One hand movement and the shoe is loose and laced. Demar is also a solid shoe for spending time in the cold and snow. Maybe not exactly trekking boots, but after all, hiking and adventure has not one name. Very warm boots allow you to endure in the sulfurous cold when photographing winter nature, for example.
How to choose the size of shoes in the online store?
Buying at a distance may seem difficult. Our dolasu.pl store has been in business for more than 10 years, and if customers follow our instructions well then there are no major problems. Matching the size of the shoe is really about choosing the right insole length. The trekking boots in our store have measured insoles. You should measure the length of the insole in your shoe and then match it to the values given in the table of the corresponding model. Unfortunately, even within the same manufacturer the same size has a different length with different models. The same applies to clothing for hunters. Remember that you can easily send back and exchange products purchased online. Do not tear off the tags and try them on at home.
