Warming clothing

Warming clothing is not a certain novelty and not only in hunting clothes. Cold and chill are always the enemy of a successful hunt. Especially hunting from a sundowner, and regardless of whether it's big game hunting or small game hunting, they can get frosty. Modern technology can keep us warm regardless of weather conditions. Of course, modern clothes for hunters protect us from rain thanks to membranes. Special insulators like Primaloft make for thermal comfort. Unfortunately, we don't always put on such warm things. When going on a drive when fox hunting, we value comfort and freedom of movement. Warming clothes can provide the comfort of the tropics and, gently clinging to the body, do not restrict movement.

How warming clothing works

There's no magic here, of course. Heating garments are simply carbon fibers embedded in the fabric. On top of that, they are located in specially selected areas. Why is this so important? About that in a moment. Carbon fibers alone will not heat. They still need a power source for the warming garment to fulfill its purpose. Companies producing heating garments use power banks for this. These external power sources are lightweight and will fit in any pocket. The power source heats up the carbon fibers and now we come to the location of the heating spots. They are usually located at the arteries. Abdominal, lumbar and also on the back near the kidneys. Basic warming clothes

Speaking of the so-called basic models of warming clothing, I mean that we usually put them directly on the body. Usually, hunters going to the hunting ground during worse weather take out thermal underwear and fleece underwear from the hunting closet. This is the basic layer that insulates our body and at the same time wicks away moisture. Why is it so important? A wet body gets cold faster and more quickly. Therefore, it is important to keep the body dry. If we choose warming clothes then we start with a warming T-shirt and warming calosons. Both of these garments should be fitted to the body, then they transfer heat better. Like the other heating garments we power them from external energy sources. They are controlled by a button located in an accessible place. Another option is to control the temperature from an app on your phone. Warming garments

`We don't always know right away that it will be cold, cloudy or damp. Sometimes a cold wind can surprise us and putting on warming underwear becomes problematic. But there is a way around this too. We put on a warming jacket or a warming vest and in case the weather breaks, we simply push the button. Importantly, one as well as the other heating clothing product can be worn without any problem without turning on the heating system. Of course, the heating vest can be tucked under a thin jacket or fleece, but it can also be successfully worn over a hunting shirt. These types of clothing also power banks with the exception that, of course, it is easier to hide them in the pocket in this case. When wearing heating clothing as outerwear, it is important to remember that the heating power will be lower, however. Undergarments that adhere directly to the body will perform the heating function much better.

Heating gloves and other accessories

It is known that hands as well as feet freeze the fastest. That is why it is so important to keep them warm and prevent them from getting cold. Feet or fingers that are ossified from the cold are hard to warm up in the fishing grounds and in the open. Therefore, another item of warming clothing is, of course, warming gloves. In other, lighter models, we can attract foxes or go on an autumn hare hunt. The gloves are powered by smaller power banks, but this does not affect the heating time. The air in the glove is practically in a closed circuit. Therefore, the heating time will be much shorter and the battery will last longer. Just like classic gloves, the gloves belonging to the heating garment are also divided into five-finger and one-finger gloves.

Warming shoe inserts

Warm feet are the basis for comfort in hunting and any hiking. Sometimes even warm and proven boots will fail and legs begin to freeze. There is not much we can do then. If traditional toe wiggling doesn't help then we have a problem. Then thinking about warming clothing is a bit late. Warming inserts for shoes are most often inserted in place of the original inserts. We can cut them according to the instructions so that they fit our shoes. A thin cable extends through the upper into the leg and connects to the power bank. The air in the shoes, as with the gloves, has a slow exchange. This means that even a short power-up will keep us warm. On top of that, the insoles are as comfortable as our traditional insoles in hunting boots. Therefore, even if we put on the heating insoles and don't use them, nothing will happen.

Recently, there have been a lot of offers of warming clothing both on social media and on shopping portals. Surprisingly low prices are closely related to the later surprise that the product does not work. The structure of the carbon fibers woven into the under garment and the power module must be robust. Despite their fragility, they must be able to be bent and withstand daily use. Of course, we must remember that the heating garment must be washed by hand and not spun. To dry, it is best to hang it up and wait for the water to drain out of it. Another important thing is the maintenance of power banks during the summer. If you do not use them, of course. One should remember to charge them despite putting them away in the closet. The power source should not be allowed to discharge completely.
